ABOUT MORAG MACLEOD, QC

Morag is an accredited family law mediator, family law arbitrator and parenting coordinator. She is a practicing member of the Law Society of British Columbia, and a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Family Mediation Canada, and the Family Law Advocates Group. She is the Past President of the BC Parenting Coordinators Roster Society and the past chair of the Family Law Litigation Group of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. She is on the Editorial Board of the CLEBC Family Law Sourcebook, a contributing author to various CLEBC and other legal publications. She is a frequent presenter on family law, parenting coordination, high conflict parenting and out-of-court case resolution topics. Morag received her appointment as Queen’s Counsel in British Columbia in 2016.

Morag’s practice is restricted to the mediated or arbitrated resolution of family law disputes and parenting support in the role of parenting coordinator. Her extensive experience in high conflict and complex financial matters helps clients reach durable resolution of the full range of family law issues. She has additional, focused training in high conflict parenting, children’s involvement in court proceedings, and advanced negotiations, to assist clients to reclaim peace. Her specialized training and representation of many clients in all levels of Court over her long career has prepared her to provide arbitration services for the final resolution of family law disputes of every kind.
